Have you tagged @CaptainNumber on social media to show off your creativity from our part 1 (5 Fun Easter-Themed Maths activities)? If not yet, no worries—here are another 5 games to enjoy this Easter! One a day, keep the learning fun and meaningful. Let’s start!

Day 6: Bunny Hop Number Line

Materials: Paper, marker, tape

Create a large number line on the floor with paper. Call out math problems, and kids "hop" to the correct answer. Great for practicing addition and subtraction!

Day 7: Egg Weighing Game

Materials: Plastic eggs, small objects (rice, coins, beads), balance scale

Fill eggs with different objects and have kids predict which is heavier or lighter. They can compare using a balance scale and record their findings.

Day 8: Easter Shape Hunt

Materials: Cut-out shapes, Easter basket

Hide paper cutouts of different shapes around the house. Kids find them and sort them into categories (triangles, squares, circles). Discuss sides and corners!

Day 9: Estimation Egg Jar

Materials: A jar, small candies or objects

Fill a jar with jellybeans or small objects and have kids estimate how many are inside. Count together to check their guesses and compare results.

Day 10: Skip Counting with Eggs

Materials: Plastic eggs, marker

Write numbers in a skip-counting sequence (e.g., 2, 4, 6, 8) on plastic eggs. Mix them up and have kids arrange them in the correct order. Challenge them to count by 2s, 5s, or 10s!

I hope you and your little one enjoy creating special moments together through our hands-on activities, making learning both fun and meaningful.

Early childhood development is such a crucial time for building confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills, and the best thing you can do is encourage and encourage! With a little support and plenty of playful exploration, your child will grow in their love for learning while strengthening the bond you share. Enjoy every moment!

Love from,
